Designing and printing of CEDAW material


Under UNIFEM’s regional program on gender equality in democratic governance, UNIFEM Pakistan has been supporting realization of women’s human rights in Pakistan through effective implementation of CEDAW concluding comments. The focus on strengthening the capacities of gender equality advocates for CEDAW implementation, monitoring and reporting is in line with UNIFEM Pakistan’s strategic priorities, which emphasize an integrated approach towards effective CEDAW implementation and monitoring. UNIFEM Pakistan is interested to develop posters, calendars and comic strips on CEDAW for stakeholders with the aim to create awareness and to advocate for realization of women’s human rights.

Applications are invited for developing the concept and illustrations based on UNIFEM’s requirement and for designing and printing of material as per below given specifications:

Printing in Newspapers – 1 English daily, 1 Urdu daily
(cost to be included in overall budget)


1. Submission criteria:

a. Organizations should submit the relevant material by 25th March 2010 by 5pm.

b. Brief technical proposal, including: organizational profile; references to and examples of relevant work; methodology of undertaking the proposed tasks and cost of designing and printing of material as per given specifications.

2. Address: Sealed proposals(hard copies) should be submitted at the following address,

The envelopes should clearly state Call for proposals-CEDAW Printing
